Overview
The Telegram Bot lets operators send client context to External Inbox for review or create notes and requests directly with commands.
Current setup
Telegram access is enabled for eligible workspaces. Users and workspace admins connect chats with one-time Telegram start links scoped to personal or workspace visibility. If Telegram is not available yet, contact [email protected].
How to use it
-
1
Forward or send a plain client message to the configured bot to leave it in External Inbox for review.
-
2
Open External Inbox in Flopinio.
-
3
Review the captured item and decide whether it should become a request, note, or task.
-
4
Link the resulting record to the right client and project.
Available commands
Flopinio publishes Telegram commands from the app command registry. Use /note to create a note immediately and /request to create a request immediately. The bot replies with a link to the created record. Use /ask for assistant replies and /time or /timer for timer status, start, and stop controls.
Review boundary
Plain messages stay in External Inbox until you capture them as a record. The /note and /request commands create records immediately, using your permissions, without a separate inbox confirmation. To review a message before creating a record, send it without a creation command.
What it is not
The bot is not a replacement for project planning, billing review, approvals, the Desktop Recorder, or a broad public browser extension rollout. It is an intake and timer-control path into the normal workspace loop.
