Overview
Notes are great for context. Decisions are better for commitments. Separating them keeps project history readable and makes sign-off easier to inspect later.
3
Start from the note
Capture meeting context, client feedback, research, or tradeoffs in a note. Link the note to the client, project, request, or task it explains.
4
Identify the decision
When the note contains an approved direction, rejected option, or important delivery tradeoff, create a decision. Keep the decision short and link back to the note for background.
5
Follow up
Decision reminders are in-app and visible. Use them to chase sign-off without hiding commitments in comments.

Common Questions
Should every note become a decision?
No. Only create a decision when there is a committed outcome or approval trail.
Can AI summarize the note first?
Yes. Use review to summarize context, then create the decision manually when the commitment is clear.
