## What the dashboard is for

The dashboard answers "what needs my attention right now?" It pulls the most urgent items from across the workspace into one place. Use it to decide where to go next, then do the work on the detailed page.

## What you'll see

- Active requests: New and open client asks, including those waiting on a reply from you.
- Approvals: AI suggestions and MCP writes waiting for your review. Use **Approve next** to work through them.
- Invoices needing follow-up: Overdue invoices and invoices that need a reminder.
- Pinned notes: Notes you've pinned for quick reference.
- Agent activity: Recent AI runs and their results.
- Your timer: Whatever you're tracking time on right now.

## Example: A Monday morning check

You open the dashboard and see three things. A new Northstar request is waiting on a reply, an MCP task creation is waiting for approval, and the June invoice for another client is five days overdue. You reply to Northstar first, approve the task creation, then open the overdue invoice and send a reminder.

## New workspaces and the demo

While a workspace is empty, the dashboard offers a one-click demo. The demo is a separate sandbox workspace, so demo records never mix with your real data. Its short checklist asks you to rename a task, start and stop a timer, and preview the sandbox invoice. See [Getting started](https://flopinio.com/help/getting-started).

## The demo banner

Inside a demo workspace, a banner offers three actions:

- **Preview auto-invoice (sandbox)** records a send and a simulated payment without any real email or payment.
- **Convert this demo to a real project** keeps the workspace and removes its demo and sandbox flags.
- **Discard demo** removes the demo workspace and takes you back to your normal one.

## FAQ

### Can I hide the onboarding prompts?

Yes. Once you're set up, choose **Dismiss Quick Start** to hide the first-time checklist.

### Does the dashboard show everything?

No. It shows what's most likely to need attention. Use the detailed pages, such as Requests or Invoices, and their saved views for the full lists.
